Overview:

Step into the world of Luminary, where magic burns bright but drains the mind. Players balance risk and reward by casting spells that deplete Clarity while navigating obstacles and challenges. Every choice shapes the story.

Core Mechanics:

• Clarity: Start with 15 points. Spells cost Clarity; each 6 rolled restores 2.
• Spells: Roll 2d6 → pick one die for Success (determines spell effect) and one for Cost (Clarity spent).
• Regular Actions: Roll 1d6 → 1–2 fail, 3–4 partial, 5–6 full.
• Narrative Tension: Risk big for powerful magic, or conserve Clarity to survive.

Players / Table Size: 1–4 players + GM

Playtime: 15–45 minutes
